Through Pain, I Found Purpose: A Story of Strength, Struggle & Grace

You can capture so Much into one Photo, a million possibilities.
You can capture so Much into one Photo, a million possibilities.

Let’s talk about me…

I always smile — but not because life has been easy. I smile because there were times I didn’t think I’d survive.

I’ve lost homes. I’ve worked low-income jobs while raising three children.

But I’m still here. Carrying my three blessings.

Life wasn’t always life in. But I know God and my angels walked with me every step of the way.

Do you know what it’s like to juggle everything… plus three?

Living in a neighbourhood that offered no escape — just more pain. Pain outside, pain inside.

Pain showed on my face, in my tears, my love, my weight, my joy, my sadness.

I asked myself:

If pain is all I’ve known, how can I still be here loving, smiling, creating?

Maybe because pain became my biggest blessing in disguise.

It taught me strength. It taught me to see the world in colour.

It taught me to paint, to write, to express.

God placed this voice in me — and I think it’s finally time to share.

Let me tell you about one of those moments…

A Little Transit Story

I had visited my mom. She lived two hours away by bus.

It was late at night, and I had to get on the last bus to head home — still another 25 minutes from my house.

I had three babies with me. One in the stroller. One on the umbrella part, sleeping on my chest. One in my arms, hip propped.

The bus arrived. I tried to lift the stroller, but I only had two hands.

When I reached the next stop, I had to transfer buses.

I handed the driver my transfer, but he told me I was 15 minutes over the limit.

If this was a rush hour trip.yes maybe id be in the time Frame  It had already taken two hours.

He looked at me — a mother with three sleeping babies — and said:

“You need to repay.”

He wouldn’t let me on. I was stuck, exhausted, broke.

Thank God for the people on the bus.

They saw me and helped. Strangers did what that man couldn’t — they chose grace.

Only God knows what would’ve happened if I had to wake all three children just to find a dollar.

What if I didn’t have it?

What That Story Taught Me

Some people are so full of hate, they can’t see the good right in front of them.

Others show up like angels in disguise.

Through stories like these, I learned that pain can purify.

Even when nothing feels funny — my smile makes me laugh.

Even when life felt cruel — God gave me strength.

Even when the world went dark — He helped me find my light.

You don’t need to go to church to be close to God.

He lives through your daily walk.

Even if the devil is backing your enemies,

you’ve got a whole force standing behind you.

Darkness can only be conquered by light.

And I’ve learned how to shine — even in the darkest places.

“It’s a dark place unless you know how to unleash the light.”
